Dear Editor,

Open letter to Alderman Lubosch!

Instead of a' buffer zone' around doors where smokers now congregate, how about asking the non-smokers to hold their breath for about 3 seconds.

I think it's about time that the non-smoker should 'move' instead of the smoker!

Dear Editor,

I can see the headlines now, from the Manitoba Legislature.

Smoking in parks 'downwind only.'

No smoking closer than 9 feet from a non-smoker---18 feet from children!

Subject: Tax money is wasted on promoting smoking by-laws
Date: Tue, 27 Apr 2004

Dear Mr. Ralph Goodale

Hard earned tax dollars are wasted on promoting smoking bylaws.

Trying to stop or hinder grown adults to use a legal product on private property(hospitality sector)

Aren't there more important issues in the health care system that need our money.

Please try to get your priorities straight.
